Product Description
TLX Gold is the ideal solution when refurbishing your roof or building a new house, this insulating breather membrane improves the the thermal performance and eliminates the risk of condensation in the roof. TLX Gold vents like a normal breather membrane and insulates like PIR insulation.
Benefits
- No need to install an additional vapour barrier
- Fast to fit - as there is no need for a vapour barrier it reduces installation time.
- BBA certified membrane
- Shiny breathable under surface which reflects heat
- Used most commonly on top of roof rafters & under tiles
- Offers an easier airtight option than PIR insulation
- It sits at the coldest level of the temperature profile, therefore keeping everything beneath it warm.
- No condensation risk when using TLX Gold
- Can be draped over rafters, so no need to raise the roof or install counter battens
- 33mm thick when draped but can be compressed to 3mm.
- Can be pulled taut and used in conjuction with counter battens.
- TLX Gold can be used with PIR insulation.
Good to know
- Must be installed with the gold side facing into the building
- Do not let bare wiring come into contact with TLX Gold
- TLX may be fitted without counter batten when there is at least a 50mm void above the top of the raters to allow the membrane to drape
- When starting to lay the TLX the right hand side must be secured with a staple or nail at least 20mm
- Can be cut using sharp scissors
- TLX Gold is supplied with an integral tape across the top length of the roll to seal the horizontal overlaps
- Should be stored on a dry flat surface protected from elements & direct sunlight.

Delivery Charges and Information
At Insulation UK, we strive to provide clear and transparent
information regarding delivery charges and order processing. Below are the
details of our delivery charges, minimum order requirements, and additional

Delivery Charges
We have structured our delivery charges based on the total value of your order.
For orders up to £500 ex- VAT the delivery charge is £50 ex-VAT
Orders above £500 ex VAT will qualify for free delivery.
Local Delivery Charge
For deliveries within 35 miles of Postcode S63 9BL,
we offer a local delivery service.
For orders up to £500 ex-VAT, the delivery charge is
£35 ex-VAT.
Orders above £500 ex-VAT will qualify for free delivery.
Order Processing Information
Orders are processed Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Orders placed over the weekend or on bank holidays will be processed on the
next working day. Delivery time frames are calculated starting the day after
your order has been processed, and you will receive tracking information once
your order is dispatched.
Weekend Deliveries
Weekend deliveries are available upon request and are
subject to the availability of existing delivery routes. Please contact us to
confirm if a weekend delivery can be arranged for your order.
Orders Placed on Weekends and Holidays
Please note that any orders placed on weekends or bank
holidays will be processed on the next working day. This may affect your
expected delivery time, so we advise placing your order accordingly. For more

Collections
To collect your order, please email us at sales@insulationuk.co.uk with
your contact details, along with the products and quantities you require. Our
team will review your email and respond with a secure payment link. For your
security, we do not process payments over the phone. Once payment is received,

collection.
Product Delivery Times
