Kingspan Kooltherm K5 is a high-performance phenolic insulation board designed specifically for external wall insulation (EWI) systems. With a thermal conductivity of just 0.021 W/m·K, it provides excellent thermal efficiency while keeping external wall build-ups slim and compliant with Part L of the Building Regulations.

K5 is faced with a durable glass tissue on both sides, making it ideal for use beneath render systems and cladding. It’s BBA-certified and widely used in solid wall retrofits and new build façades to reduce heat loss and improve building envelope performance.
