Loft Access / Ladders

A Loft ladder is a set of retractable steps hidden in the ceiling when closed and which once extended, will allow easy access to a loft or attic space. Installing a loft ladder and hatch involves simply securing to the loft floor space. Each folding loft ladder kit has anti-slip mechanisms and is robust and strong with a high maximum static vertical weight load. They typically have a primary construction of wood or light metal and fold into 2 or 3 sections.

A Loft Hatch is a plastic loft door that seals the opening between a room and the loft. These are often an insulated loft hatch and are also available as fire-resistant for extra safety. They ensure that the minimum amount of heat and air leaks out, so that loft space is thoroughly draught-proof. Available in a range of designs to allow easy access to most home loft spaces.
