Insulation Grants are For Everyone
The government Green Deal scheme is principally targeting those most at risk and people in fuel poverty. There are many grants available to support those who need it.
Another focus of the Green Deal program is to reduce carbon emissions by targeting houses that are currently insulated poorly or have ineffective heating measures.
Some of those grants are not means tested, but relate more to the location of the property and the efficiency of the heating measures.
A special focus is to ensure rural areas are supported by the Green Deal scheme, and programs like Affordable Warmth, the Carbon Saving Community Obligation (CSCO) and funding under the Carbon Emissions Reduction Obligation (CERO) offer financial support packages to upgrade the heating measures in your home.
