Free Loft Insulation
Loft insulation is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to improve the warmth and energy efficiency of your home. It should be treated as an investment; one that future proofs your home and makes it healthy and liveable for years to come.
The government has set up a range of grants available to eligible householders that entitle them to free loft insulation or a contribution towards the overall cost. The aim of these grants is to help householders create easier to heat, and more energy efficient homes that are healthier to live in.
The eligibility for free loft insulation is based on certain personal criteria and circumstances of the householder, and those living in the house. If you own your own home, or rent it from a private landlord you are already on your way! In addition to this, if anybody in your home receives special benefits, such as working tax credit, child tax credit or state pension credit - then you could be eligible for free loft insulation.
